Entering the blogging world

OK, I’ve decided to add a blog portion to the website.  Its for a few reasons really, which are easy to get into.  First I’m hoping that it helps drive some interaction between me and the visitors to the site.  I’ve had the forum section up for some time but nothing really has come of it.  Maybe this will result in more back and forth with the visitors to the site.  Secondly, I’m hoping this will provide an easier way for me to update more frequently.  Since I’ll be able to post from any machine, I won’t have the limits of only being able to update the site from my home pc where I have access to the source html.  I’ll still be updating other sections of the page as I have been, but this way I hope to be more on top of things.  Finally there is as always the desire to change things up every once in a while!  Integrating the blog stuff into my basic website layout forces me to learn more about php as well as tweak the layout of the site.  Feel free to let me know what you think about it by clicking on the contact page or by letting rip with some comments 🙂
