Chekov begat Boner???

I never learned of this connection until the story of Andrew going missing … but I never knew that the actor who played Boner Stabone from growing pains is the real life son of Walter Koenig aka Star Trek’s Chekov. How did I miss this connection all this time??? That seems so unlike me and the type of knowledge I normally accumulate in my brain.
